Story Adventure …

Local individuals and businesses visited Lingle-Fort Laramie Elementary Tuesday morning to help teach students about identification of animals and birds outdoors, how to use a compass, and soil identification and conservation. The event was originally to be held outdoors at the Trail Trek along the Laramie/Platte rivers near Fort Laramie, but inclement weather required the event to take place inside. Presenters included: Luke May, Goshen County Game Warden, on the topic of animals; Jane Dorn, pictured, local bird and plant expert; Benchmark staff, compasses; Caleb Carter, pictured, of the University of Wyoming Extension, soil identification and conservation.
