LINGLE – The Lingle Volunteer Fire Department hosted a haunted house on Halloween and during the weekend prior. The haunted house served as a community outreach for local youth and adults to meet some of their firefighters and enjoy a chili feed on Oct. 29.

The fire hall was adorned with skeletons, witches, ghosts and carnage to incite a fright out of those attending. Actors dressed up to scare those walking through the constructed haunted halls.

Screams and laughter filled the hall during the weekend. The fire department hopes to continue doing the event in years to come.

The fire department is also seeking those interested in purchasing raffle tickets for a Stag Arms Stag-15 rifle. The raffle tickets are $20 apiece. The drawing will take place Friday, Nov. 25. To purchase a ticket, visit the Lingle Fire Facebook page or contact a member of the Lingle Volunteer Fire Department.
