The 2022-2023 school year kicked-off Tuesday morning, Aug. 23, at Lingle-Fort Laramie schools. During a morning assembly at the high school, students were pleased to hear they would now be allowed to wear hats inside the building. However, they would not be able to take backpacks into the classroom, which Principal Cory Gilchriest told the students was in hopes of keeping cell phones out of the learning environment.
