Grief group forming in Torrington

TORRINGTON – Dealing with grief and the loss of a loved one will be the focus of a support group forming now at the Goshen County Senior Friendship

The support group will meet from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursdays, for 13 weekly sessions, beginning March 1.

Facilitator Judy Chaffin will use the GriefShare program model to lead participants through the grieving process. Discussion will include recovering from loss, understanding the normal process of grieving, dealing with anger and understanding everyone grieves differently, at their own pace.
